What even IS semi-personal training?

We’ve gotten a few questions recently about what semi-personal training actually is.

And why don’t we just call it group fitness?

Because it’s not.

In a traditional group fitness class, you could have 20 or 30 people in the room.

You might feel like you got a great workout and leave sweaty…

But the trainer has to coach and program for a large group of people.

They can’t always have eyes on your form. They can’t make sure you’re using the right weight. They can’t adjust the workout specifically for you, your experience level, your injuries, or your goals.

And because of that you can’t lift heavy enough to get results, because it’s just not safe.

That’s why our Semi-Personal Training sessions are capped at just 8 women.

It’s small enough that your coach can still have eyes on you.

They can correct your form. Modify exercises when needed. Help you choose the right weights. Push you harder when you’re ready. And make sure you’re progressing over time.

But you still get the fun, motivation, and energy of training with other women. In this way, strength training classes for women create a strong sense of community and camaraderie.

And the best part?

Everyone does NOT have to be at the same fitness level.

You could be brand new to strength training while the woman next to you has been lifting for years.

Our coaches know how to adjust exercises, weights, and progressions so every woman gets the most out of her workout.

It really is the perfect balance between personal coaching and group energy. 💗

But what if you want even MORE personalized coaching?

That’s where our 1:1 Personal Training comes in.

Personal Training gives you an entire session with a coach dedicated specifically to you.

It can be a great fit if you’re newer to strength training and want more individual guidance. However, strength training classes for women remain one of the best options for ongoing progress and group support.

Maybe you’re rehabbing an injury or dealing with limitations that require more specific programming.

Maybe you’re returning to training after pregnancy and want really specific programming to work on your core and pelvic floor health.

Or maybe you’ve been training in our Semi-Personal sessions for a while and you’re ready to take things to another level.

You want to hit PRs.

Lift heavier.

Build more strength.

And see just how strong you can become.

With 1:1 Personal Training, you have dedicated time with an expert coach who can safely push you harder, closely monitor your technique, and progressively increase the weight you’re lifting.

You can load up that bar, challenge yourself, and have a coach right there making sure you’re doing it safely and pushing you further than you would on your own.
